Skypoint School is delighted to celebrate achieving its third Eco-Schools Green Flag Award, recognising the school's ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental education.

The award highlights the fantastic work of pupils and staff in tackling environmental issues through the Eco-Schools programme. From regular litter picks to promoting climate action and exploring local natural spaces, pupils have embraced a range of hands-on activities that have made a real difference both within the school and the wider community.

The Eco-Schools assessment praised Skypoint's strong links between environmental learning and the curriculum, as well as the school's active Eco-Committee, which includes representatives from every class. The school's community partnerships, cycling trips, and outdoor learning opportunities were also recognised for helping pupils develop practical skills while fostering a deeper understanding of the environment.

Looking ahead, the school has exciting plans to build on its success, including further biodiversity projects, measuring the impact of sustainability initiatives, and taking part in a One Planet Picnic as part of the Eco-Schools 30th anniversary celebrations.

Congratulations to all of our pupils and staff on this fantastic achievement and for their continued dedication to creating a greener, more sustainable future.
